Bring your mother to a concert under the skies at the beautiful Waller’s outdoor stage. We’ll be featuring “favorites” — each song chosen by our members from all their years of singing. You’ll enjoy a little classical, a little pop, a little bit of serious, and a whole lot of fun!
The concert is free, but we encourage you to grab a bite or a drink from Waller’s counter.
We are also raising money for A Home for Everyone in DeKalb, a collaborative initiative on homelessness that is doing amazing work. Bring a few bills to drop in the donation bucket, or use their donation link right now.
About Voices for Now
Voices for Now is a friendly group of choral singers who believe that music has the power to help us feel, heal, and connect. We formed our own a cappella choir in 2022 and enjoy singing at community events and senior centers. Raising awareness about good causes is forefront in our minds when seeking out new venues for performances.
Music
Voices for Now sings traditional, classical and modern choral music, typically a cappella. Our favorite styles range from madrigals to modern arrangements. We seek out music with a message and are especially fond of local composers and lesser-known works.
